Mike Hofmann on Why Play Indoor:

Many people have been wondering whether or not to play indoor (you don't learn good ulti habits, there's no wind etc).
Well it is a different game than outdoor so here are my 10 thoughts on it:

1) Any game where you touch the disc at least 50 times in 2 hours is a good thing
2) On such a small field, you do learn to know where everyone is and how to avoid them
3) You sweat a lot
4) It's great experience on your short throws
5) You don't lay out since it is too painful
6) We get to listen to tunes while we play
7) You get to play a lot (usually with 2-3 subs but you switch on the fly)
8) Don't have to worry about wind, rain, cold or snow when we play (only on the way to Oak Bay Rec center)
9) There are cold beverages upstairs when we finish
10) It's just pure fun

We've been playing indoor for about the last 3 years and it's consistently the same people showing up.  Many of you got a taste of it at the inside/out tourney so you know how much fun it is.  Come on out and give it a try!
